Carrying a Torch

An intimate evening with

Buck & Lauer

A black and white ambience with splashes of red. An Anglo-French repertoire that swings from euphoria to despair, touching on classic French chanson, jazz and torch songs with some original material. With her warm yet melancholic voice, contralto Rosalind Buck will tear your heart apart only to fill it with joy. David Lauer provides a masterly accompaniment on piano and accordion and, from time to time, with his clear tenor voice. Visually, the duo presents a tableau of yesteryear cabaret that changes throughout the evening.

A rare musical complicity.
